Sundays at Saint Philips
Sundays are when we gather to worship, and everyone is welcome.
We love Jesus and would love you to join us!
We sing songs of faith, hear a talk to encourage and challenge us, pray and say sorry to God, and have some fun.
There’s tea or coffee and snacks at 1030 between the two morning gatherings – you’ll find a warm welcome and people full of faith wanting to make you feel comfortable and help you feel at home.
Words are displayed on a screen for you to join in the songs, teaching is based on the bible and aimed at helping us live the Christian life, and we expect God to move in power as we meet with him and each other.
There are groups for Kids during 1045 worship, a group for Y7-10s at the 1830, and for 15s-18s straight after from 8-9pm.
A range of free refreshments are served between the two morning gatherings.
Using liturgy from ‘Common Worship’ and hymns on the piano, this is a relaxed but traditional Church of England worship with Communion each week.
A lively, relaxed gathering for all ages with contemporary worship led by our worship team, Bible teaching and opportunities to pray and be prayed for.
There are activities for children each week with groups for those aged between 0-11.
The first Sunday of the month is our “Family Creative” gathering, an interactive and creative for every part of the church family, followed by a free lunch.
A relaxed worship gathering to connect with God and each other with powerful worship, relevant in-depth teaching from the Bible, and prayer ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit.
There’s youth group for 11s-14s during the 1830 and Ignite for 15s-18s straight after between 8-9pm.
On the first Sunday of every month we have a New Wine Celebration with other churches from around Greater Manchester.
