Sundays at Saint Philips

Sundays are when we gather to worship. Expect to hear a talk which will encourage and challenge you, sing some songs of faith with followers of Jesus, pray and say sorry to God, and have fun.

Join us for a tea or coffee at 10.30 between the two worship gatherings – you’ll find a warm welcome and a people full of faith wanting to make you feel comfortable.

Then at 10.45 the band begins to play some worship songs. Words are displayed on a screen for you to join in if you wish. Children will go to their groups, and we will spend time worshiping using songs for a time before a short talk and opportunity to respond in prayer to what God is doing.

For a more traditional Church of England service, join us at 9.30am for liturgy, prayers and hymns with the organ.

Refreshments are served between the two morning gatherings.

Using liturgy from ‘Common Worship’ and hymns on the organ, this is a more traditional Church of England service.

A more lively, relaxed gathering for all ages with more modern worship music led by a worship leader and band. Every First Sunday of the month is our “Family Creative” gathering, an interactive and creative way to do all age worship.

New Wine Celebrations

Every first Sunday of the month we host an evening of worship, teaching and ministry.

Kids & Young People

Children and young people are really welcome at Saint Philips. There are groups for children and youth at our 10.45 gatherings, where they will learn and grow in a safe, fun environment. All our leaders are DBS checked.

Our Youth (Yr 7-11) hang out every Sunday evening from 7pm for loads of fun and opportunities to strengthen faith and build friendships.
