Giving

Thank You for Giving

At Saint Philip’s, we believe that giving is far more than a financial transaction; it is a vital part of our spiritual formation. When we give, we are making a tangible declaration that God is the provider of everything we have. It is an act of trust that shifts our focus from material security to spiritual dependence. Through this the work of the church is resourced, bills are paid and lives are changed.

WHY we give

We give because God gave first. Our generosity is a natural overflow of gratitude for the "unconditional love" and new life we have received through Jesus.

Scripture teaches that "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." By giving regularly, we loosen the grip of possessions on our hearts and re-align ourselves with God’s priorities.

Giving is a way to "serve Greater Manchester and beyond." It allows us to participate in God’s work, fuelling the mission to love and serve our neighbours.

Your Giving Makes an Impact

Giving is a practical and meaningful way to support the life of the church. It enables everything from weekly services and community activities to the upkeep of the building and the resources needed to welcome and serve others well.

Beyond this, your generosity helps us partner with and support a range of other initiatives and charities, extending our impact far beyond our own walls. Take a look below to discover more.
