We continue to closely monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and, following advice from Public Health England and the Church of England, are taking appropriate steps to ensure we keep our church community, those who come to our groups and events, and the city we love as safe as possible.
We have taken the decision to do the following:
– Livestream Sunday worship at 10:45am. Head to saintphilips.org.uk/live from 10:35am on Sunday morning to join in worship with us, and find resources for links at saintphilips.org.uk/online You can watch back worship from Sunday 22nd March, here.
– Pause midweek activities that take place in the church building (including Pamper Afternoon, Chapel Tots, Alpha, Youth, Student Living Room, Lent Prayers) and replace as many as possible with online meetings. Check saintphilips.org.uk/online or the event leader for more information.
– Encourage people to lean in to Connect Groups even more fully, as a smaller, safer place to look out for each other and those around us. Sign up here if you’re not in one already.
– Team: we would love to respond as a church, to bless those around us who are vulnerable, in isolation, or anxious. Please let us know if and how you could help by filling in this form.
We will keep you updated through this web page, church emails (sign up here if you don’t currently get them), and social media (@spchapelstreet). Please get in touch with us if you are concerned, unsure, or have ideas for how we can best love and serve those around us.
